Relief fund: bKash increased the daily and monthly limits for transactions
The country's first mobile financial service provider bKash Limited has increased the daily and monthly transaction limits for the organizations and volunteers who came forward to help the flood victims with the cooperation of people from different sections of the society. A notification on Friday (August 23) announced the revised transaction limits.
It is said that according to the instructions of Bangladesh Bank, taking into account the current severe flood situation in the country, changes have been made in the daily and monthly limits of some bKash services.
According to the new decision, a customer can send or cash in Tk 50,000 daily from the agent. And in one month one can send or cash in from the agent up to Tk. 3,00,000.
Besides, a customer can cash out Tk. 50,000 in one day from the agent. And 2 lakh 50 thousand Taka can be cashed out to the agent in one month.
This revised limit will continue until further notice.
Earlier, a customer could cash in a maximum of Tk 30,000 per day and Tk 2 lakh per month from the agent. The maximum send money a customer could receive in a day was 25 thousand taka and 2 lakh taka per month.
Besides, earlier a customer could cash out 25 thousand taka per day from the agent. And the maximum amount per month was one and a half lakh taka.
